The latest blog

And once again, two weeks have passed. The start of just about every blog recently. The campsite is getting busier and busier, and with that it also becomes more difficult to take time for the fortnightly blog. No one day is the same here but still it is difficult to write something new every time. That is why the blog is going to be renamed the newsletter. We will continue to update you when there is news but no longer biweekly. Because I don't want to let you go cold-turkey, this is the last blog from the sunny south.

While the campsite is running well, we are also still doing odd jobs. Slowly, the campsite is starting to take shape. With the help of Jan (a guest of the campsite) and Ben, the chemical toilets can now be emptied. Construction went smoothly until the last post of the fence. The auger broke an electricity cable there. But hey, it was quickly fixed and spotless is actually only boring anyway.

In the meantime, Hein has thrown himself into numbering the camping pitches - we think they turned out super cute. And immediately the lack of light on the paths is solved with these handy solar-powered lights. Without too much light pollution because we want you to continue to enjoy the beautiful starry sky here.

Over the past few weeks, our new campsite TV has served us well. It has been enjoyed by our guests watching football and F1 together. The TV is also doing well outside so we are ready for the coming sports summer on the terrace!

And furthermore, pétanque has been played in abundance. The new court is used just about every evening. It is great fun to see how our guests meet and get to know each other there. By the way, the game is played fanatically, with the tape measure regularly serving as seen in the photo.

Well, that was him the last blog. But not to worry! You will continue to receive the newsletter, so as soon as there is any news to report again we will come on air. In the meantime, we will regularly post pictures and messages on our social media, so be sure to follow us on facebook and Instagram. Or even better, come and meet us in real life at our lovely Camping Les Angeles.
